Nate Robinson led the way with 11 points as the New York Knicks were blown out, to say it nicely, by the Boston Celtics 104-59. Fifty-nine…59…from a “pro” team…from New York. The only saving grace for the pitiful Knicks was that the game was played in Massachusetts.
Remember when this used to be the premier match-up [...]

Farve left the game in the second quarter after a hard hit by Cowboy Nate Jones. It is an injury to his wrist and backup Aaron Rodgers has kept the Packers in the game but it looks like the Cowboys are going to be just too much.

The Eagles were huge underdogs, almost unfair 20+ point underdogs. The Patriots were gunning for an 11-0 record. And, it all came down to a fourth quarter Laurence Maroney touchdown run to give the Pats a 31-28 win. For the first time this season, Tom Brady was held under three touchdowns, only throwing for one, [...]

The Cowboys almost let it go against the feisty Redskins and the Patriots showed the league who’s boss with a 56-10 stomp in Buffalo.
Terrell Owens and Tony Romo combined today for four TDs as the Cowboys took a strangle hold on the NFC but their defense almost let the ‘Skins back in the game as [...]

The Yankees are closing in on the two biggest members of their roster - A-Rod and Mariano Rivera. Both are close to closing deals with the team and the Yanks will probably start after former Sox Mike Lowell to finish off their infield.
The Braves are bringing home a blast from the past with the signing [...]

Though not totally official, the Yankees and Alex Rodriguez have worked out the framework on a 10-year $275 million deal for the third baseman.
Next, the Yankees have to turn their attention to Mariano Rivera, who wants a fourth year added to the $45 million, three year initial offer.

Barry Bonds was indicted today on four counts of perjury, one of obstruction of justice, holding a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison. Bonds and his lawyers were caught off guard with the news. This is just one last attempt to get Bonds tied to the steroid era…because the era needs a recognisable face.
Professionally, this [...]

Probably realizing the err of his ways, or trying to drive up the price, Alex Rodriguez called the New York Yankees top brass to initiate contract talks without agent Scott Boras, who Yankee GM Brian Cashman won’t negotiate with.
Maybe it is not about the money? A-rod is the greatest baseball player of this generation and [...]
