BCS: LSU is #1

Ohio State jumped out early, taking a 10-0 led by Chris Wells’ 65 yard touchdown run on the Buckeyes fourth play.  From there on it was all LSU.  Scoring the next 31 points, the Tigers beat the Buckeyes 38-24 for their second National Championship in five years.  Led by QB Matt Flynn, who threw for four touchdowns, LSU became the first two-loss team to win college football’s national title.

With LSU’s victory, many will ask what about USC, Georgia, West Virginia, Kansas and Missouri?  All had impressive bowl wins and all have an argument for a better ranking.  Next year looks like it should be another great season.
