Gregg Williams was thought to be Joe Gibbs successor when the Redskins signed him to one of the most lucrative contracts for a defensive coordinator but things change. Daniel Snyder fired Williams and offensive coordinator Al Saunders. Many of the other coaches were either promoted or resigned. Taking the place of Williams is Greg Blache. Running the offense is newly hired Jim Zorn, who was with Seattle last season.
The new head coach will have a staff ready to go. Snyder is waiting to interview Giants and Patriots assistants after the Super Bowl.
