MLB: Play ball!!!

With the season upon us, let’s try to forget about the mess that the Mitchell Report brought upon America’s Pastime and remember that there is nothing better than beer and hot dogs at the ballpark on a summer’s night.  As the sport exits the Steroid Era, baseball is primed for a great season. 

Please, Bud Selig, let baseball exit the steroid era gracefully and heed the recommendations of the Mitchell Report and not punish those that were named in the report.  After all, the report was not based on hard evidence as testing was not mandated. 

So, with all that behind us, the Boston Red Sox and Oakland A’s got the season started in Japan (for some reason), splitting a two game set.  So, it starts with opening night (Braves v. Nationals) followed by opening day and the unofficial start of summer.
