MLB: Jeter goes down

In the win against the Rays, to split the four-game set, Derek Jeter left the game with a quad injury.  After an MRI, it showed a strained left quad and a few days off for the Yankee captain.  In the first game without their leader, the Yankees lost 5-2 in the Kansas City Royals home opener.

It may be a rough couple of games without Jeter.

  1. ha ha. Toronot’s got a good chance for the AL East this year. All they need is a few key injuries to the Yanks, and they’ll be in.

  2. They would also need key Sox players to go down as well…
