NHL: Rangers route; Penguins shut out Senators

Who needs Sidney Crosby when you have Marc-Andre Fleury?  The #2 seed Pittsburgh Penguins handled the Ottawa Senators 4-0 on the pads of Fleury, who made 26 saves for the win.

The New York Rangers Scott Gomez got some revenge on the New Jersey Devils in the playoff opener.  Gomez, who played for the Devils, had two assists in a three-goal third period that helped put the Rangers ahead in the series.

  1. Correction – Pittsburgh is the #2 seed. Montreal is #1.

  2. Right, Pittsburgh should have been the top seed had they not lost before the season ended.
