Trevor Immelman capped off a tough year with a Masters victory by three shots over Tiger Woods. Last year, Immelman caught a stomach bug and later found a benign tumor behind his lungs that was removed in December 2007. Now, he owns a nice green jacket and joins one of the most elite group of champions in the world of golf.
Tiger Woods struggled with the putter and could never mount a charge to challenge Immelman. Brandt Snedeker, who was in second, battled the wind to a final round 77 and a third place finish in his first Masters as a professional.
