In some good news for the NHL, the Detroit Red Wings beat out the Pistons in local TV ratings. The Red Wings game on NBC got a 18.2 ratings share to the Pistons 15.9.
Nationally, the NBA game 5 between the Pistons and Celtics got a 5.3 ratings while game 3 between the Red WIngs and Penguins got a 2.8 rating.
What those numbers mean exactly…? But, it shows that hockey isn’t dead and that the NBA could be in trouble.
