The Rays were comfortable inside the lines at Fenway Park as they beat the Red Sox 9-1, taking a 2-1 series lead. Off the bats of B. J. Upton and Evan Longoria, the Rays beat up John Lester with four Green Monster home runs. Matt Garza pitched six scoreless innings for the Rays.
The series continues tomorrow in Boston with Tim Wakefield going against Andy Sonnanstine.
